Helloooooo fans~ Anna Marie here, checking in with some fabulous news. So needless to say, we've been extremely excited to talk about this. And that day is finally here. We have a release date for DRAGON FANTASY: THE VOLUMES OF WESTERIA for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U -- and we have even better news than that!
First, the two games will launch simultaneously on Wii U and 3DS on the same day: July 23rd. Mark your calendars!
Second, the games will absolutely be cross-buy, so getting the Wii U version also nets you the 3DS one and of course vice versa also works.
Third, the game includes all of the premium perks from previous versions, plus additional small quality of life tweaks and big gameplay changes including a bestiary, quest log, on screen enemies and more. For fans who prefer the more traditional gameplay including random battles, these new features can be toggled on or off!
Fourth, the Wii U version includes off-screen play, because we know this was a big deal to a lot of our fans. Happy to oblige!
Dragon Fantasy: The Black Tome of Ice is also being developed for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U with numerous changes and improvements. We're grateful to Choice Publishing for this opportunity to spread the Dragon Fantasy love to more and more fans. Once upon a time and Nintendo launch of Dragon Fantasy was just a daydream, and now it's a reality. Woohoo!
